# AGENTS.md - Vestaboard CLI

You are being asked to install or use the Vestaboard CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

vestaboard-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for Vestaboard. Read, preview, render, and write Vestaboard messages from the terminal, including character-code lookup for precise board output.
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install vestaboard

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-vestaboard --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/vestaboard

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (vestaboard-pp-mcp) with 5 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call vestaboard-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-vestaboard skill inside an agent.
Run vestaboard-pp-cli --help to list commands.
