# AGENTS.md - Techmeme CLI

You are being asked to install or use the Techmeme CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

techmeme-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for Techmeme. Tech news aggregation and curation. No official API exists. This spec describes the RSS, OPML, search, and HTML surfaces available for programmatic access. No authentication required.
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install techmeme

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-techmeme --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/techmeme

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (techmeme-pp-mcp) with 5 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call techmeme-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-techmeme skill inside an agent.
Run techmeme-pp-cli --help to list commands.
