# AGENTS.md - Splitwise CLI

You are being asked to install or use the Splitwise CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

splitwise-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for Splitwise. Every Splitwise feature, plus an offline SQLite ledger that powers balance, debt-aging, spend analytics
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install splitwise

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-splitwise --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/splitwise

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (splitwise-pp-mcp) with 27 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call splitwise-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-splitwise skill inside an agent.
Run splitwise-pp-cli --help to list commands.
