# AGENTS.md - OpenFDA CLI

You are being asked to install or use the OpenFDA CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

openfda-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for OpenFDA. The FDA safety data terminal. Every drug adverse event, device recall, food contamination, and product label the FDA...
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install openfda

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-openfda --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/openfda

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (openfda-pp-mcp) with 25 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call openfda-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-openfda skill inside an agent.
Run openfda-pp-cli --help to list commands.
