# AGENTS.md - Linear CLI

You are being asked to install or use the Linear CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

linear-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for Linear. Offline-capable, agent-native CLI for the Linear API with SQLite-backed sync, FTS5 search, cross-cycle comparison, project burndown, and pp_created fixture lifecycle for safe live testing.
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install linear

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-linear --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/linear

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (linear-pp-mcp) with 28 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call linear-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-linear skill inside an agent.
Run linear-pp-cli --help to list commands.
