2. Set Up Credentials

Google Ads requires an OAuth2 access token with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope and a Google Ads developer token. Authenticate via the OAuth2 flow — auth login opens a browser, runs the consent flow, and stores a refresh token so access tokens are minted automatically:

google-ads-pp-cli auth login --client-id YOUR_CLIENT_ID --client-secret YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET

--client-id / --client-secret default to $GOOGLE_ADS_CLIENT_ID / $GOOGLE_ADS_CLIENT_SECRET when set. Inspect or clear the stored grant with google-ads-pp-cli auth status and google-ads-pp-cli auth logout.

Or supply a pre-obtained access token (plus the developer token) directly via environment variables:
