# AGENTS.md - authentik CLI

You are being asked to install or use the authentik CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

authentik-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for authentik. Agent-native admin CLI for authentik identity provider with offline SQLite cache and an MCP server for Claude Desktop.
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install authentik

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-authentik --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/authentik

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (authentik-pp-mcp) with 969 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call authentik-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-authentik skill inside an agent.
Run authentik-pp-cli --help to list commands.
