# AGENTS.md - Amplitude Read CLI

You are being asked to install or use the Amplitude Read CLI from the Printing Press library.

## What it is

amplitude-pp-cli is an agent-native command line tool for Amplitude Read. Read-first Amplitude Analytics API surface for exports, cohorts, events, users, and chart-style analytics queries.
It is a single Go binary that ships with an agent skill, and it installs with one command.

## Install

Recommended (installs the binary and the agent skill):

    npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install amplitude

Hermes:

    hermes skills install mvanhorn/printing-press-library/cli-skills/pp-amplitude --force

OpenClaw:

    clawhub install printing-press-library/amplitude

## MCP server

This CLI ships an MCP server (amplitude-pp-mcp) with 11 tools. Point any MCP client at it, including Claude Desktop.

## After install

Call amplitude-pp-cli from the shell, or use the /pp-amplitude skill inside an agent.
Run amplitude-pp-cli --help to list commands.
